Rose Damasecena is one of the 5 main types of Roses in the world, of which 56 species have been identified in Iran so far. This flower has long been loved by everyone due to its various and amazing properties and is considered one of the mystical flowers. The geographical and historical origin of Rose Damasecena is in Iran, and since the 14th century, this flower has gone to Europe and North Africa. Currently, in addition to Iran, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Japan, India, America and Canada, Rose Damasecena and its products are produced and exported.
In all the countries that produce roses, only three types of Damasena, Centifolia and Galica are used to use their effective ingredients in the perfumery and aromatic industries. The most valuable product of the Rose flower is its essential oil, which is obtained by distillation its fresh flowers, which has many components and various uses.
