Kalandolla Aroma is a collection of pure & natural essential oils from the ancient and civilized land of Iran.  The Culture and use medicinal plant has a long history in iran and return to thousand years ago. Iran is a privileged country with a high rank in terms of plant richness and biodiversity and has 11 climates out of 13 world climates.

According to botanists and researchers, the number of plant species in Iran is about 8,000 species, which is double the diversity of the continent of Europe. Research has shown that more than 2300 species of these plants have medicinal and aromatic properties. In 1988, Iran obtained the first rank of medicinal plants, and in 2003, it was the fifth largest producer of medicinal plants. Our products are the list of native and cultivated plants in Iran. Our most important and amazing product is Rose Essential Oil. Planting and maintaining rose gardens and extracting rose water and perfume from this plant in Iran is a thousand years old, and currently it is more than 30 thousand hectares, which accounts for about 70% of the world’s cultivation share.

The journey of Rose essential oil is as rich and layered as its fragrance. Rosa damascena was first cultivated in Persia (now Iran), before making its way to Bulgaria, Turkey, and beyond. The essential oil is now derived primarily from three types of rose: Rosa damascena, commonly known as Damask Rose, Rosa centifolia, and Rosa gallica.

The cultural tapestry of Rose essential oil has woven its way through history. It has marked its presence in rituals, medicine, and even in the corridors of power and prestige. Its journey begins in ancient Persia, where it was first cultivated, to the gardens of the Mughal Empire. It then makes its way to the heart of Europe during the Middle Ages.

In the ancient world, Rose essential oil was so highly valued that it was often used as currency. During the height of the Roman Empire, roses and their by-products were traded like precious gems and gold. The Romans would lavish their baths, fountains, and banquet halls with rose water and rose petals. They celebrated the flower’s scent as a symbol of opulence and well-being.
